Demetria L. FADUL
June 20, 1908 – July 5, 2008

Demetria, lovingly known as ‘Cion’ was born more than a hundred years ago on June 20, 1908 in Asingan, Pangasinan to Juan and Teodora Laurencio, passed peacefully in her sleep on July 5th, 2008.

She was preceded by her loving husband of 45 yrs, Jose G. Fadul who died in 1976. She is survived by her children, Alicia, Patria, Rizelito and Rosie, sons-in-law Tony Ganacias and Paul Gavino, daughter-in-law Corazon; grandchildren Arthur Ganacias, Gil and Geoff Gavino, Joseph and Joel Fadul and Tiffany wife of Joseph; great grandchildren Jason Ganacias and Jesse Bullard-Gavino. She is also survived by her sisters Lily Sapigao and Beatriz Padre; brothers Leonardo and Virgilio Laurencio. A sister, Pilar Pascual and a brother, Alfredo Laurencio recently preceded her in death. She is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews who affectionately called her ‘Nana Cion’.

She was extremely religious and devoted to patron St. Antony, went to St. Edwards Church daily until theripe old age of 97. She was a member of the Legion of Mary, and an active member of Fil-Am Guild during her younger days. She enjoyed her retirement traveling to Europe with daughter Alicia and visiting her beloved home in Kamias, Quezon City, Philippines. Her many family and friends will always remember her as very kind, generous, tender and soft-spoken person up to her death. Her long and wonderful journey in life is finally over.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2008 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd, SeaTac. Rosary 7:00 PM Friday, July 11, 2008 and Funeral Mass 10:00 AM Saturday, July 12, 2008 both at St. Edward Catholic Church, 4205 S. Orcas Street and interment will be at Washington Memorial Park.

Dear Alice and Family, Judy Stoeck sent me the notice of your dear mother’s passing. She was such a gentle and wonderful woman and I remember her well.
