Denver Ray Robison Sr.
September 25, 1948 – June 27, 2012
On Wednesday, June 27, 2012, in Tacoma, Washington, at St. Joseph Hospital, at 4:15 a.m., Denver Ray Robison Sr. passed away from a long illness. He was born in San Bernardino, California on September 25, 1948, to the union of J.C. and Larlee Robison. He attended San Bernardino High School where is excelled as a basketball star. His outstanding scores are still displayed there as undefeated. Denver graduated from San Bernardino High School in 1966.
He was drafted into the Military, Army Branch, in 1967. He served two years in combat in the Vietnam War earning medals. He received an honorable discharge from active duty on February 24, 1970. Denver moved to Seattle, Washington in 1978 where he used his G.I. Bill for vocational training. He worked as a temporary employee for King County Metropolitan before he was promoted to permanent status in 1980. He retired in 2008 after completing 28 years of service.
Denver Ray Robison Sr. is survived by his wife of 30 years Jeannie Marie Robison; Three Sons, Denver Delray “DJ” Robison, Tai Trumaine Robison, and Jermaine Aki Robison. One Grandson Kobe Ray Robison. One Step-Son Pastor Verdale Luwane Hilliard and Daughter-in-Law Trina D. Hilliard, of Federal Way, Washington; Four Step-Grandsons, Andrea Robison, Joseph Robison, Nick Robison and Verdale Luwane Hilliard II of Federal, Way, Washington; Two Step Daughters, Cariter Robison, and LaVonne A. Taylor of Renton, Washington; Three Step-Granddaughters, Miechia J. Taylor, of Renton, Washington, Keyonte S. Hilliard, of Federal Way, WA and Chantrell L. Taylor of Renton, Washington and Two Step Great Granddaughters Saniyah Nedd and Amiyah Nedd (twins).

(husband, Hopson) Davis, of Las Vegas, Nevada, Ollie “Deana” Harris of San Bernardino, California and Sarita Ann (husband, Tyrone) Ferguson of Round Rock, Texas; Two Brothers Duke Monroe (wife, Dianna) Richardson and Glen Wyatt Robisn of San Bernardino, California; First Cousin, Haywood Lee (wife, Cleo) Owens of Killen, Texas; Three Brother-In-Laws, Maurice Jones Jr., (wife, Lara Lavi-Jones) of Lake Forest Park, Washington, Sylvester Jones Sr., (wife, Sheryl L. Jones) of Seattle, Washington and Charles E. Jones, (wife, Lydia K. Jones) of Auburn, Washington; One Grand Nephew Cameron M. Lavi-Jones of Lake Forest Park, Washington; Two Aunts Annie P. Stallings of Killeen, Texas and Queen E. Crenshaw of San Angelo, Texas. Preceded in Death by His Mother and Father Larlee & J.C. Robison, Two Sisters Sally Dee Robison and Eva Gale Armstrong and One Brother Jeffers Carl Robison
Denver will be missed by many.
