Diana Lee LaPine, 78, of Tukwila, Washington for over 50 years, passed away on November 8, 2017.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held at Bonney Watson Funeral Home on December 2, 2017 at 2:00 pm.

Diana was born in Kansas City, MO on August 29, 1939. She went to high school at Point Loma High School in San Diego, CA and graduated in 1957. She worked as a Para Educator for Tukwila School District for 20+ years, retiring in 2004. Diana was involved with the Good Sam’s Club chapter and helped support Dogs for the Deaf, Ronald McDonald House, and Fisher House.

 

Diana is survived by her husband, Gary LaPine, Married 59 wonderful years; her sisters Pat Wilson, TX and Jeannie Saunders, SD; her children, Sheila Hembree, Larry LaPine, and L. Alan LaPine, all from Tukwila and her numerous loving nieces, nephews, grandchild, great grandchildren, and other relatives. Diana is predeceased in death by both her parents, Arlough Hollingshad, MO and Dorothy Holbrook, CA.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any charity of your choice. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Seattle Hospice and Highline Cancer Care Center. Diana will remain in our hearts forever.
