. Diane has always been a genuine and sincere woman, I don’t remember a time when she wasn’t smiling. My sympathy to the family.
Rest in peace Diane. The years we spent working together at Meridian are filled with many wonderful memories.
Thank You Heavenly Father for taking Diane to be with you at her time of need. She will be missed but will no longer be in pain.
A wonderful friend and special childhood neighbor who will be
missed. I have nothing but wonderful, fond childhood memories of Diane and know she is now enjoying the
gardens of heaven.
I will always remember her beautiful smile and her friendliness I drove school bus out of Crestwood for 31 years I retired 4 years ago and she sent me the most beautiful hand made card when I did I will always treasure it my prayers and sympathy go out to your family at this time.
I met this lovely lady when I was introduced to her by her husband Ray – my associate at Children’s Hospital. She was a ray of sunshine. I’m so sorry for your loss, Ray, Christine and Meredith.
Such a sweet and talented woman. When we traveled to Cannon Beach over a couple of years, she always had a project going which revealed her wonderful talents, especially with paper crafts and her photography. I first met her as my son’s kindergarten teacher, astute to notice even though he knew the colors green and red, that he was color blind. From there we shared professional experiences including placing student teachers with her in third grade because she was such a fantastic teacher. In retirement and over the past three years of her struggle we shared many WWF games in the wee hours of the morning. I will miss you Diane, but I know you are in a better place now. Your zest of live through it all abounded with courage and love for those around you.
I worked with Diane at Crestwood Elementary when I was a School Counselor there in about 2000. We enjoyed many good talks together and were also a member of the same book club. I was saddened to hear this news and send my condolences to family and friends.
Mrs. Plumb was my 3rd grade teacher and my most favorite teacher during elementary school. My younger sister also had the privilege to be in her 3rd grade and experience her joy of teaching. I am sorry to hear of her passing she will be greatly missed as she was such a wonderful and inspiring teacher. My thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family.
