Donald A. Devitte
Donald was born April 17, 1925 in Chicago, IL, and died February 29, 2012 in Des Moines, WA at the age of 86.
He was the founder of one of Seattle’s Premier insurance agencies, Sav-on Insurance Agencies. Donald was a Knight of Columbus, Past President of Eagles Aerie #1.
Donald is survived by his daughter Stephenie Devitte Keating, son Philip Devitte, and son Richard Devitte, and their spouses, Richard, Ellen, and Kelli, 7 grandchildren, Nichole, Paul, Virginia, Elizabeth, Ava, Juliette, and Donny.
Memorial Service Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Bonney-Watson Federal Way, 1535 SW Dash Pt. Rd. Federal Way, WA 98023 (253) 839-7317.

We will miss you Don and your true gentlemanly manner – you always made us feel special, and took time, in no matter what setting, to ask “how are you and tell me all you are doing lately!’ Although our hearts are sore at your loss, we know you are with your beautiful red head and enjoying the lovely life God plans’ for us all.

It was a pleasure to have met and visited with Don. He had a great smile and sense of humor. May you take comfort in knowing that he is with God, and may you find joy in the many memories you have as a family. You were blessed to have had him with you for 86 years.

Stephanie, Philip & Richard..so sorry to hear of Don’s passing.I worked for your Dad and Tom at Sav-On in the sixties and learned so much from him. I will always remember is crooked grin and the glint in his eye! We all laughed alot which made the work some much more enjoyable. I hope you all find peace in knowing that he and Jeanne are together again.
My heart goes out to the Devitte Family during this time of loss. May you find comfort in the many cherished memories.

We were saddened to learn of Don’s passing. Their are many fond memories of Tom and I, Don and Jeanne, vacationing together, going dancing. We shared many happy hours talking, laughing, sometimes well into the night and a martini or two.
Tom and Don worked well together establishing Bolster-Devitte Corporation and Savon Insurance Agency.

He carefully built a family business that has supported the dreams of not only his own children and grandchildren, but has also provided financially and emotionally rewarding careers for hundreds of his employees over the past decades.
