Cherie and family,
I have been so privileged to have you all as my second family. I couldn’t have asked for a better Godfather than “Uncle Don”. Growing up with you and Don around and having David as a playmate for Catherine and I, I always felt like we had lot’s of family close by even though our extended family were far away. I’ve always known I was loved by you and Don because both of you have always been there for all of the important times in my life. I have so many fond memories of camping trips, bike rides, fishing and of course watching dad and Don build fences and retaining walls! I still drive by my old house on Stevens street and remember dad and Don building that fence around our yard to keep my little ones safe. They built a good solid fence and I’m sure it will last for many more years, just like the love it was built with. I am a lucky person to have had Don as a big part of my life!
I love you all,
Ann
Cheri & Family
You are in my thoughts at this time of loss. Don will be remembered through conversations with laughter & tears. As with the loss of Kathy – talking about Don will be most helpful during this time in your lives and during the years to come. I have great memories of Don – growing up and visiting each others homes, playing Barbies with Debbie & Vickie. As the years have passed it was always fun to see Don & Cheri when Kathy was in town and other times when I would pop into Mom & Dads and they would be there.
Again you are in my thoughts & prayers. Love Judi
My condolence to the family. I used to work with Don in the 70’s. I enjoyed my time with him. He was a very nice person to work with.
Cherie and Family
Our heartfelt condolences go out to all of you. Don will be missed very much. You have to remember that Don is in the hands of God now and will be in peace and out of all pain for all eternity. He is with our Kathy. Don was a friend for 55 years. We camped, visited, and played games together as families for all that time. Our children grew up together even when they hadn’t seen each other for years while raising their own children, there were times when we did all get together. We are so sorry that we cannot be there with all of you at this time of need, but you all know that our thoughts and our prayers are with you. Don is in the best of places and will shine as one of God’s own.

Di and I are very sorry to hear that Don has passed. We have many great memories. Don and I worked together for quite a while and even Gordy put some time in with us at old Inerrtube Tire Co. Family gettogethers at Granny Caldwell’s, and Maybell and Ray’s. Lots of good times. We have a previous scheduled get together at Dad’s so we will miss the memorial, but we will be thinking of you. Love Dick
