Donald D. STOBER

Don was a resident of Shelton, WA and passed away on December 25, 2018 at Tacoma General Hospital.  He was born May 20, 1939 in Kensal, North Dakota, and grew up in West Seattle. He spent four years in the Navy.  He was a 40 year member of the Teamsters Union, Local 174.  

He had driven for the Seattle Times and later became a business agent for the union.   He leaves behind his loving wife Laulie, five adult children Dana Stober, Tom (Carrie) Smith, Teri (Jim) Jackson, Jim (Mike) Smith and Lori (Rich) Brester; eight grandchildren David, Sydney, JD, Cody, Johanna, Tyler, Tawnya and Bailey; five great-grandchildren Banner, Jalen, Julian, Madison and new baby Avery and two brothers Richard (Katherine) Stober and Duane (Doris) Stober.  He was preceded in death by his son Dusty, Mom and Dad Stober and his faithful lab Bebe.

Don loved motorcycles, bowling, travel, more motorcycles, old cars, sitting on our deck with a cup of coffee and a newspaper watching the sun rise and watching the deer walk through our yard.  I love you my Honey Bunny. 

Don was buried January 6, 2019 at Washington Memorial Cemetery, SeaTac.  Memorial donations can be made to any charity.
