Obituary
Donald E. Hautala, age 83, born in Chicago, IL on February 26, 1929 died peacefully in Des Moines, WA on April 12, 2012. Preceded in death by wife Mary, and brother David. Donald E. is survived by his son, Donald K.; brother, Edward (Arlene) and sister-in-law, Bev Forslof; nieces, Terri Tidwell, Holly Forbis, and Bridgette Cariz; nephews, Jeff How and Tim Hautala.
A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, April 29 at Angelo’s of Burien, 601 SW 153rd Street.
A retired Lt. Col. with the US Army, both he and his wife, Mary, will be interred at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.
A special thank-you to the 5th floor surgical wing staff at Highline Medical Center, as well as Phyllis, Angela, and JP at the NW Kidney Center.
Memorials are suggested to the NW Kidney Center or to the University of Washington’s College of the Environment/School of Environmental Forest Sciences.
