Donald Franklin RIEBHOFF
Born Feb.1, 1929 in Cole Harbor, ND, he passed away June 1, 2013 at home in Arlington, WA. He served in the US Navy and worked his entire career for the Burlington Northern Railroad. He was a long time member of the FOE, BPOE, and the Moose.
Don was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Dorothy, his parents and 2 brothers.
He is survived by 3 daughters, Debbie Simpson (Marlin Skipton), Sandy Sailand (Karl) and Ginger Zimmer (Karl); 7 grandchildren, Kristie Zahnow-MIller (Warren), Karey Coble (Steve), Jesse Skipton (LeeAnn), Kevin Sailand, Lisa Conover (Chris), Arielle Zimmer and Alliea Zimmer; and 8 great-grandchildren, Lilly and Lyndsey Zahnow, Trevor, Nathan and Brandon Coble, and Payton, Riley and Skylar Conover.
Don is also survived by his sister, Elda Mae Steen, and many nieces and nephews. He took pride in taking care of his family and friends and will carry on in the memory of those he touched.

Dad you have been the light of my life!! You have always been the go to guy in our family!! I will treasure all the time we spent together either travling or working beside you mowing and painting or just being with you!! Your laugh was contagious!!You gave me dirrection and love and you LOVED LOVED LOVED your grandkids!! You will be alive in my heart as long as I live!! Be in peace now hold mom close to you as this is what you have “so” wanted for the last five years!!! I LOVE YOU FOREVER!!!
So, Donald I’m number one now. I promise you that I will try and carry on the distinguished honor that your passing has bestowed upon me with the same grace, love and laughter that you did. I know that you and Dorothy are together and smiling down on your beautiful family and that as time passes their sorrow will be replaced with all their beautiful memories of you. I will miss you! Rest in peace Donald!
P.S. And poor Ken is number two now.
I’m so sorry for the lost. He will be missed by all. There will be some hard time in the up coming, need to stick together and make it thru it. He is now with our loved ones and having a good time and watching down on us. They will always be right here in our hearts. Take Care and Keep in touch.
