Don enjoyed the beautiful nature of the State of Washington, traveled throughout the NW and the country as often as he and Inge could. Rosie, his faithful ESA seldom left his side along with her buddies, Levi, Saydie and Mammas. Don’s compassion for the world around him made our life and home a true heaven on earth. He is dearly missed by all and will be in our hearts for eternity. He left an indelible presence with his amazing wit and quirky sense of humor affecting everyone he met. R.I.P. my love…….
Our family would like to thank everyone who cam to celebrate Dons’ life with us today. The words of comfort and many hugs will help and always be remembered. Sharing your thoughts and special moments with Don made this journey very special, not just for our family but also for Don, knowing we will not be alone until we meet him again. He will never be forgotten and always loved. Inge and family……
Mom, thoughts and prayers are with you always. Don was the light of your life and truly made a difference in everyone he met. I will always remember his witty smile, compassion for all and that his favorite word when I asked him how he was doing was ‘swell’! And he meant it! You gave him the hope and love that he needed just as much as you did and I am so grateful that you two got to spend your life together. It was such an honor to play my flute for his memorial, thank you for asking me. Know that he will be looking out for you forever and will always be with you! Love you!!
My Dad was so much more than just a dad to Edward and I He was our Superman, He could and would do anything for his Family and trust me he always went above and beyond to make sure we were safe and had what we needed. He gave very good advice even if we did not want to hear it at the time or when we did something wrong our punishment was hearing his super long repeating speachies about how easy we have it as kids and how he would have to walk in the snow to get to school even though he really did not…I think that was the greatest thing about him his stories he could tell you a story and you would just get so into him talking that you just would want to hear more….I know my Brother Edward and I will miss all the advice and his voice his wonderful Imagination but most of all we will just miss Our DAD…..We Love You And RIP DAD Love Your Daughter SERENA and Son EDWARD
