Judy and I send our warmest condolences to Don’s wife Sharon and family. I met Don through our construction days in the early 80’s. I am proud to have called him my friend. Don touched the lives of so many people. I will never forget him and all the good times we had. He was someone that was truly special.
I first met Don in the old days when I worked for George Paffile. He was a great man.
I met Don thru the Constuction Industry. He was a well liked and respected competitor who shared his time and knowledge with myself and the industry. My condolences to his family and friends.
My friendship with Don began when I
married his cousin, Jim Holt 60 yrs ago. We remained friends when I re-married and had many fun trips to’Vegas and Hawaii. My thoughts and
condolences are with his loved ones.
AT ONE TIME DON WAS MY BROTHER-IN-LAW…I ALWAYS HAD THE GREATEST RESPECT FOR HIM.MY PRAYERS ARE FOR HIS FAMILY…HE LOVED THEM SO…

I met Don while working for Universal/Land Construction Co. He ran a job for us in the Tacoma area in the 80’s and I got to work with really, for him. I learned a lot from Don and always admired him for the way he handled the job and the people who worked for him. A fine man he was.
My condolences to his family and especially his lovely wife, Sharon.
Vern and I have lost a good and dear friend. Once you became Don’s friend, you were always his friend. I worked for Don & Sharon for 19 years. His employees were important to him. We could always go to him and he would be ready to listen and lend a helping hand. Love you and miss you.
We never worked for Don we knew him as a kind and generous man, our neighbor in Sekiu. We knew this right away when they constructed their fishing home along side our property, Don was always conscious of proper construction and “making it right”. The second thing that confirmed his kindness was the way he SPOILED our kid/dog with a never ending supply of “treats” usually beef jerky. We will truely miss Don and if Cody our dog was alive he would be heart broken and hungry laying at the foot of their stairs waiting for Don and Sharon to come home from fishing.
Sharon you and Don still hold a great record on the halibut you landed together a few years back. We still talk about it.
Don you touched a lot of hearts here in Sekiu and you will not soon be forgotten.
Our condolances to the family and especially Sharon.
With love and prayers….
This is my father. I am deeply saddened by his death. I love you Dad
I met Don in the early days of UCAW. Great contractor, always thought of in the highest regard by all of his competitors. He always brought some laughter into a conversation, along with a lot of wisdom. He had a lot of patience with us younger guys and never held back from sharing his vast knowledge of the underground business.
My condolences go out to his family and friends. He will always have a place in our hearts and memories.
