Dorothy Irene Cook
Dorothy was born December 21, 1918 in Grand Forks, North Dakota to Nelson and Anna Berg.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter Judy Schauss, son-in-law Joe Schauss, three grandchildren, Derek Edwin Conway, Jennifer Mae Conway, and Katie Irene Schauss, and three great-grandchildren, Kylie Mae Vera Rowe, Alexis Michelle Couey, and Danny Jacob Schauss.
A Graveside Service will be held Monday, March 25, 2013 at 10:30am at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial Park, 16445 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA 98188.
Judy, I misunderstood who was calling, and I had someone else in mind as we were speaking. Dorothy was a good friend of many years, and we saw her a number of times after she moved to Lakeshore. We still have a juniper bush that Ed gave us, I did Dorothy’s taxes at the Senior Center for a long time. She was a lovely gracious lady

On further discussion, Judy, I remembered you from Sunday school. At my age , it takes a while for the memory gene to engage! Bless you and your family.

Dorothy was a long time member of St Mark’s Lutheran Church, where I first met her and have so enjoyed her friendship over the years.
She was such a dignified, pleasant lady, always smiling and happy. May she rest in peace.
