Dear Dorothy & Harvey,

Oh, so much we have to say, but so little space to say it all. We loved love you both so very much. You will forever be in our hearts and memories as you rejoin each other in the very special place God has prepared for you. We grieve not for you but for ourselves, as we know you are so very happy now, but we will miss you tremendously. I know I can still talk to you, and I know I will feel you there with me when I do, but I will miss the sound of your voice. I’ll end this the same way we ended all our phone calls… Okay,I’ll talk to you later, we love you. Bye for now.

And to Darlene, Gayle & Colleen, and all the family, again, we want to tell you how much your open arms and acceptance meant to us. You are truly a loving family, and must have been a wonderful blessing to Dorothy, just as you were to us. I will try to write to you later and share some of our special memories of Harvey and Dorothy.

Dear Aunt Dorothy,

We want to thank you again for all of the wonderful memories. Those are the things that time can not erase. We will hold you next to our hearts forever. When we are feeding the horses, I will always remember the great times we had at the farm. The smells, the warmth of family. Rest in peace my sweet aunt, we will see you in the blink of an eye.

Love Chuck and Lynda

My Dear Sister

God gave me the honor to be at the side of both of my sisters when He took their hands and lead them to a glorious place where pain and illness is not allowed.

I often think of our early “kid” years on a Kansas farm. We had our “chores,” but had time to play. The picnics at the Soloman River, raising and playing with the farm animals, especially Prince, the dust storms, grasshoppers that ate everthing, pulling taffy in the winter, the house burning, making ice cream, snow storms, the move to Oregon and a million other good and not so good times.

Our grapefruit tree is growing tall.

With happy memories in my mind I say good bye. I will miss you.

Rest in peace.

Love Darlyne

Aunt Dorothy

What a blessing to have you and Uncle Harvey in our lives. We will always have special memories of you two, but most of all when you came to visit us on Catalina Island with Mom and Dad Cora and Clarence Thompson What fun all of us had during that time. We will miss our phone calls to and from you.

Love you, Rylan and Barbara

Dorothy and Harvey you are so special loving friends to my grandma and my family. You will always be in our hearts and all the memories. I’m always having you in my thoughts. I know one day I will see you again. Miss you so much. Thank you for all the special memories and fun times being with you at Gold Bar Nature trails. You always brought out the sun with your smile. I know you and my grandma are together with Harvey having blessings with our Lord. Thank you so much.
