My family and I are so sorry for your loss. We have so many fond memories of your Mom. She taught me how to clean house! Who knew to take a mirror to see if the back of the faucet was clean!? Sending you our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely – The Evans’ Tom, Bunny, Jeannie, Jim, & Tammy

Dear families of Dorothy Laird,

I had the pleasure of working with your mother in the highline PTSA Council. She was indeed a very pleasant and enjoyable lady to work with. I was so grateful for her bringing to the PTAs and the Highline School District’s attention her great concern that they would recognize the needs and take action to help students with Dyslexia. Thats to her, our son got the help he needed. My thoughts of your mother has been often over the years. I am sorry I failed to make an effort to locate her after she left the Highline area. The loss of a loved one is so hard to bear. I do hope you all will find comfort in remembering the happy times you shared over the years. With Love,

Dear Family,

We are saddened to learn of Dorothy’s passing. She was the best! My mother was active in the county political field, and knew your mom for year’s. So imagine how happy we were to renew that friendship once again at the Lakeshore community. Dorothy was so kind to mom, and never judged her because of her failing memory.

She became my favorite, and I looked in on her nearly everyday, sharing treat’s and the daily paper. She proudly showed pictures of the family, and we talked of times past.

I have thought of her often in the 2 year’s since my mom moved to our home.We knew she had left the Lakeshore, and was glad to know she too, was with her family.

She was a wonderful women, and we will alway’s miss her~

Her friend’s~
