Dorothy Hammond Keen
Passed away peacefully March 23rd in Des Moines WA. Born in Burlington, Kansas in 1922, the family moved to Puyallup, WA when she was a teenager. She worked at Boeing during the war and then Ford Motor Co.
She married Col. Charles Dobson, a Marine, who lost his life in 1968. In 1989 she married Capt. Walter Keen, ret, and settled in Seattle. Walter passed away in 1994. Throughout her life Dorothy was known for her love of entertaining making it an art form.
A celebration of life will be held for family and friends later. She will be remembered as an elegant lady.

Dorothy and I go back a long, long way, and I will miss her alot.

I will remember my elegant and fun Aunt Dorothy in so many ways… and for all the love she shared. She was always there for me. I have many great conversations to add to the many memories. I look forward to sharing stories of her life with family and friends. She had a very full and interesting life. I love you Aunt Dorothy! Thank you for everyting!
