Dear Carla, I remember walking into your bathroom as a child and seeing the Love Is articles cut out to each other stuck all over the bathroom. And thinking to myself… How cool after so many years of being married!! It truly is the little things you do for each other that means so much. Doug’s yard was as beautiful as the love he shared with you! And his smile and jokes will be missed deeply! May God comfort you in your loss of your Husband and your Best Friend! Love Connie

Dear Carla and family

My deepest condolences and just a note to say that I was so fortunate to be a part of Doug’s Wind tunnel work family and just a word to say how thankful we were to be allowed the gift of sharing this brief moment in precious time here on this earth.

On the promises of our Lord, He still lives, on our minds and in our hearts, until we meet again.

What a great treasure Doug was for each and every one of us in his work family.

It was a blessing to know him.

My fond memories of Carla are from grade school in Eugene, Oregon. A few years ago I learned that she and Doug had made a very very happy marriage and have a very wonderful family. I am grateful to Doug for taking such great care of Carla and his children and grand children and am so saddened to know that he has passed away. Please know that my heart goes out to Carla and her family as I send along my prayers and best wishes to them all.
