To Auntie Audrey, Steve, Mary, Lisa and Betty and families: We weren’t together very often but I still have many great memories.

Uncle Doug was a great man who was above all else a great believer in “Family”. Condolences from my family and me.

Dear Auntie Audrey and Extended Family, I was very fortunate to take my schooling in Washington, where it gave me plenty of opportunities to visit everyone in Kent. I always loved Uncle Doug’s genuine love he had for his family and others, me included. I loved his soft sense of humor, and his big warm smile. I also loved the fact that he always had a cold beer in the frige for when I came to visit, even though he didn’t care for beer to much, he knew I did. He will be missed and very much thought of with love and admiration.

Our Prayers are with you,

Glenn and Lisa, Nicole, Ryan, Jenna and Daniel Harper

What a priviledge it was to take care of Doug. His smiling face and genuine concern for others touched my heart. Even in the face of his terrible disease he always had a hug for us nurses. We will miss “happy hour” at the beach and all the masonic stories.

My love and hugs go out to Audie and the family.
