I met Dr. Heyrend probably 28 years ago after knowing his daughter Suzanne for seven years. I hold a strong admiration of him for his love and devotion to his family, particularly Suzanne as she grew up without a mom. I thank God for him and his legacy and look forward to seeing him in our Lord’s Heavenly Kingdom!

Dr Heyrend was my mother’s physician and was in attendance for the birth of my brother and myself. Some 45 plus years later, my mother still remembers Dr. Heyrends kind manner and fine medical care. My family and I wish to extend our sympathy to the family and loved ones of Dr. Heyrend. May God carry and comfort you through your loss.

As an old neighbor on Cascadia Ave. in Mt. Baker I have many fond memories of the Heyrend family. My condolences and best wishes to my neighbors Martha and John.

I remember Dr. Heyrend’s kindness and compassion toward me during the years when I was a close friend of his son, John, while growing up in the Mt. Baker district of Seattle. This entry to the guestbook is long overdue, but I was reflecting on my relationships from my youth, and my friendships, so I began a search online and found Noel’s obituary. John, you were a ‘very good’ friend to me during our elementary years, and unfortunately, I abandoned you for the ‘popular crowd’ after all the great childhood experiences, closeness, and even vacations we had together. I remember fondly traveling to Sun Valley and Yellowstone Nat’l park with your family. That was a memorable, special time for me as I was a member of a family of 8 children and you family included me in everything as if I was a member of yours… I know your father was a genuine, caring parent, and that you had a good upbringing. My parents, too, have passed, and currently I am pursuing a post retirement career as a faith based counselor and teacher in Sequim, WA. My wife and I are caregivers for my 90 year old father in law, and both my daughters are married….we have 1 grandson. I would love to reconnect with you somehow. My phone # is 253-888-3892 or 360-683-6748. if this msg gets through to you, please feel free to call. Blessings, Clarke Mason
