This man helped me to save my own life. From 1998-2001 we had lunch about once a month. Dr.Bob counseled me on accomplishing more in my life by having faith in myself. I lost touch with him when I moved to Miami, but he has always been in my heart. I googled his name today, to try to say thanks for the friend he’d been to me,and so I learn that he has passed- He was a gift from God to me. I always thought about him on St. Patrick’s day, and how much he enjoyed that litlle pub by the train station. I wish I could share more, but that is not for here. I will always be grateful for knowing this wonderful man, he did more for me than even he knew. Thank you to his family, he was very proud of all of you. Goodbye Bob- Eric Swenson 12146

My sincerest and deepest sympathy to your family. I know this comes late, but I just found out incidentally about Bob’s passing, and my heart goes out to you.

I know that it doesn’t get much easier over time, yet I hope that you all found strength with eachother and your loved ones during this difficult time, and that you are at peace with yourselves.

Dear Lorraine, Vicki, Mark, Eric & Lori – We were so saddened to hear of the passing of “Mr. Beardemphl.” We have such fond memories of being neighbors and all the neighborhood parties, the 4th of Julys and the birth of your children. Remember when we interivewed you both for our “Glennis Park” newspaper? You were pregnant with Vicki. We lost touch over the years but fond memories remain. You were all so loved by our parents Jim & Margie who are now greeting him with open arms. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Fondly, Patty & Pam

I treasure my years as Bob’s secretary at ERAC. I feel all the good adjectives in the dictionary apply to him, but the ones I most think of are “funny”, “kind”, “brilliant” and “organized”. It was such a pleasure to work with him. Donna Black

Bob was a true gentleman. He will be held in our hearts for a long time. His positive attitude, sharp humor and obvious love for his family are what will make this memory easy to recapture – and lasting.
