Earl D. Robinson
Earl was born in Fontana, Wisconsin on September 24, 1924 to Minnie and Raymond Robinson and died in University Pl., WA on December 11, 2010.
Earl started college in 1942 and after two semesters was drafted in 1943. After serving in the Army he returned to college and in 1950 graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
Earl met Lois Carlson in 1946 at the Wesley Foundation. Lois also graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a BS in Biology and Recreation. They were married at Fontana Community Church in 1948. Earl and Lois enjoyed 41 years of marriage.
Earl worked for the Gisholt Company in Wisconsin. After being hired by the Boeing Co., Earl and his family moved to Washington. Earl worked for Boeing for 32 years retiring in 1990.
Earl enjoyed barbershop singing, quilting, photography, painting, woodworking and the stock market.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Raymond, and his beloved wife Lois. He is survived by his four daughters Kathie, Margo, Jane and Sheila; his grandchildren Shara, Tiffany and Matthew and his great-grandson Jeren.
At his request, there will be no service. Donations can be made to Hospice House in University Pl., WA or the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
