I came to know Mr. Edwards through his niece Vicki Umali, a friend and coworker. I will always remember how Mr. Edwards joked with me, laughed with me, and even chided me, when I would come to his room at the hospital to draw his blood. He always managed to talk with me and say something funny or rediculous, even though he was obviously in pain or discomfort. He was quite a character, but in a kind way.
