dear kay- when you and eddie came into our lives they became richer. i remember telling my family it was like an angel arrived. i will never ever forget or stop loving eddie. my son “levi” will always call him his brother and my daughter” jamie” will always say he was her best friend. i am here for you as you were for me God bless you

We as parents can’t even begin to imagine the pain of losing a child and Eddie Bowe was an incredible young man with a heart of a giant. Our thoughts and prayers are with you both and the entire family, this is truly a tragic loss and we have had you in our prayers since we heard.
Why God needed him home so early is unknown but his time on earth was a job well done.

To all of Eddie’s family,
Eddie will always have a special place in my heart. My daughter Charice went with the Pace family to mexico, it was her senior year trip. Eddie was also on the trip. They went for a swimm in the ocean and before they knew what was happening, they were caught in a rip tide. My daughter didn’t know what was happeneing until it was too late, she was being carried out to sea. Eddie at the ripe old age of 13somehow made it back to shore and alerted the lifeguards. They were able to get to my daughter and save her. He will always be a “hero” to me. Eddie possessed a maturity beyond his years. When I don’t understand why,I trust the one whose thoughts are higher than mine. And I will hold the memory of this fine young man, Eddie, as a treasure in my heart. Life, with all it’s sorrow, can be a joyful journey that culminates in eternal life, where death and sorrow, suffering and tears will be no more. We were blessesd to have known this fine young man for the short time he was here, and will be forever grateful for the gift of Eddie Bowe Pace.

Kay, Only knowing Eddie for the last few years and seeing you two together it was obvious the love you two shared for each other. He showed a real respect for his Mom in his actions and conversation. He seemed to be the perfect son.There is never an answer to the qusetion “Why” we ask ourselves over and over. Sometimes I think God just needed another Angel at his side. We love you Kay
