Eddie Turner, Jr. was born May 3, 1939 in Lillie, Louisiana to Eddie and Beatrice Turner.
His parents and three brothers, Paxton Turner, J.W. Turner and Earl Turner preceded him in death.
He united with the MJ Pisgah Baptist Church in Lillie, Louisiana and was baptized at an early age.
Eddie worked for Reed Mill in Bernice, Louisiana before coming to Seattle in the late 1950’s where he worked for various car dealers. In 1979 he went to work for Jim Houston Ford now known as Pacific Coast Ford. He worked as Manager of their used car department until his death.
Eddie loved working with children. He coached little league basketball and was involved in a work program for special education students where he earned various certificates.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his children a son, Anthony and a daughter Stephanie Benny both of Shoreline, Washington, one brother, Grady Turner, six sisters Pearlie Thompson James, CleEster Turner of Seattle, VeEster Lyles Harrison of Portland, Or., Robbie Turner, Lestine Randle James, and Shirley Thomas Michael of Seattle, seven brother-in-laws James Thompson, James Randle, Michael Lewis, Harrison Lyles, Charles Bergley, Ronald Bergley, Rodney Bergley, four sister-in-laws Judy, Lucy, Mavis and Mary Bergley of Seattle.
I look up and see you smiling down. You will be missed my friend.
I always remember going to uncle’s house when I was younger. We had so much fun. He was such a kind and fun loving person, one of the most beautiful and charming people you could ever meet. I’ll miss you.
