In Seattle, he became a beloved member of the engineering crew at the DoubleTree Hotel in SeaTac, where his good humor, warmth, and constant willingness to help others made him a treasured part of the team. He retired in 2020 after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. A talented craftsman, Eddie took pride in his work and brought joy to those around him through his generosity and kindness.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and two brothers, Angel “Boy” Coloma Jr. and Herson Coloma. Eddie is survived by his wife and three daughters, as well as eight grandchildren—Mia, Lorenzo, Alonso, Aspen, Sage, Liam, Lyra, and Emilliano—who will forever remember his love and gentle spirit. Eddie’s memory will live on in the laughter of his grandchildren, the craftsmanship he shared, and the countless acts of kindness he gave so freely.
