I was privileged to work with Ed for many, many years at Weyerhaeuser. His positive attitude and integrity was unsurpassed. I loved hearing his many stories about his life growing up. He had so many interesting experiences to share. Ed’s father was in many of these stories and must have been a very positive influence in Ed’s life. Ed’s spiritual devotion was also ever present, and he had a heart full of service and devotion to God. He was also very, very proud of his family and always talked about his kids, wife and grandkids–he really enjoy his time with them. We will miss you Ed!!
I worked with Ed for many years at Weyerhaeuser. He was an integral part of the Forms group, with experience and skills that no one else had, which made him a valuable member of the team.
He was also very entertaining with stories of his life, his family, his church activities, everything. It was clear, through his words and his actions, how devoted he was to his family and church. I know he has left a big hole in many peoples’ lives with his passing. Take comfort in knowing that he is now where he lived his life to be.
Rest in peace, Ed. We will all miss you.
