This wonderful woman had such sweetness which sustained Jess in his outstanding amiable personality in the face of all his challenges at SEAFO.
I have noticed that as our loved ones slip away one by one; the sad emtpiness they leave in us that are left behind, begins to fill with the great gratitude we feel for having known them. Blessings to you and yours, Jess.

Just saw the obit in the newspaper. It is with very fond memories that I reflected on you two coming into Frank and Guys and shopping, telling jokes and shooting the breeze. I remember you and the cracklins. So sorry for your loss. We are all better persons for having the privilege of knowing her. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Jess: Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Eddie at this saddest of times. When Kathy and I think of you two, we cann’t help but smile remembering her story about the raccoons and your fish pond. Lord, she loved telling that story.
God bless you both.

Jess,
What more can I say that others have not? She was a jewel. If the truth be known, half the reason I’d call you after office hours was to hear her melodically say “Oh Hi Al! How are you? Yes, Jessie’s here. I’ll get him for you”. She always made me feel extra special, made my day. But, I have a feeling she did the same for everyone she touched. We’ll all miss her.
Al

I was really sorry to hear about Eddie. She was a neat lady. I can’t think of a thing to say that would lighten you and your family’s load, but I will be thinking about you and Eddie, and hoping you can be comforted by the good thoughts of your friends.
Hopefully I will get to see you around the system or at RUPA or something.

I will always miss the wonderful woman who I have alsways known as Nana and the numerous memories she has built with me:
“I’m just a singer in a rock and roll band hoo hoo” with a tamborine,
Yelling “I’m home!” when Gillian and I got to my home away from home and hearing the same thing repeated with an ‘Oh!’ afterwards and a rushing downstairs to see how our day went,
Cuddles,
Sleeping over and hearing her fake nails tap-tapping her keyboard and the TV on ever so faintly,
when I would sleep over and not be able to sleep or have a nightmare and pad upstairs to talk,
the black dolls,
the figurines,
the accent,
love,
bedtime stories,
wake-ups,
and so so so many other things that have made me a better person. Nana was, no, she still is, a spunky person who understood and is the hippest person I’ve ever known. I loved her so much. When I’d sleep over when I was younger, Nana and I had this thing where she’d sing that song about a guy having the whole world in his hands among a few others and than we’d have what was almost a competition for who loved the other more. I loved her for every grain of sand and every atom in the universe times infiniti and one, for example.
Nana will always have a place in my heart as the best Nana ever.
She was a joy (literally) to be around and I miss her very much.
I wish I would’ve given more hugs and listened more but isn’t that the way things see to go.
I think she was too young to go but at least she’ll be with her parents now and one day we’ll all be with her.
Nana, has been such a big part of my life and has made my life very exciting. Whenever I would see her, I would always have a smile on my face and would be very happy every time I would get a hug or kiss. Nana was not like any old normal Nana, she was very supportive and definitely one of my very best friends. There are so many things I loved about her, one of which was her accent, but it was the way she made you laugh or smile or tell you not to put your feet on the table, that reminded me of her true self; And for the rest of my life I will always cherish her loving memories within my heart. When I thought of her, I didn’t just think of the way she made me feel, but the way she impacted me in every possible way and I knew that she didn’t just think of me as just one of her two granddaughters, but as a token of love; and forever more, that will be what I think of her as.
Everyday I think of her and everyday she will think of me and that is what is truly special to me. You will always be in my heart for the rest of my life.
Love, Gillian
