Edythe J. Steinback age 88, passed away on September 22, 2017 surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Seattle, Washington on December 2, 1928 to George and Angus LaDuke. She grew up in Highland Park area and graduated from West Seattle High. Married and had two children, Thomas and Linda; and grandchildren, Thomas, Cherie, Benjamin and many great grandchildren. Edythe was very independent, thoughtful, caring and a dedicated wife, mother, daughter and friend. Edythe will be cherished and missed by all who knew her. Edythe is preceded in death by: husband, John Steinback; stepson, William John Steinback; brother, James LaDuke; son, Thomas Pearson; and parents, George and Agnes LaDuke.
