Obituary

Elaine Grace Pelzel Angel

Beloved wife, stepmother, sister, aunt, grandmother and dear friend, lost her valiant struggle to four cancers throughout her life, Sunday, February 27, 2005, at the age of 62. Elaine graduated from Sealth High School in 1961, and that June went to work for the Telephone Company along side of her late Aunt Phyllis. She worked there through all its changes, ending with Qwest, a total of 41 ½ years.

Elaine loved gardening and was a gardener extraordinaire, spending hundreds of hours in her small but beautiful garden. Strangers passing by would stop at length and admire the extravaganza of beauty before them. Throughout the 70’s and 80’s, Elaine had a fabulous time traveling around the country and far East with good and long time friend, Dottie Edwards.

Elaine married Isaac in 1987 and were just starting their 18th year of most joyous and wonderful love you could imagine. Elaine was as close as possible to being what her name meant, a perfect angel.

We would like to thank Drs. Wasserman, Huseby, Liddel, Counter and so many others along with their nurses, aides and technicians.

Elaine is survived by her beloved husband Isaac, her sister Marie Pelzel CA, brother Thomas Pelzel Catherine, stepdaughter Rebecca Angel, granddaughter Mileah Angel and nephew Francis Hines CA.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 3, 2005, 1:30 PM at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial Park, 16445 International Blvd., SeaTac, WA 98188. Remembrances may be made to any favorite charity, and finally, she said she had a wonderful and good life, and loved all her relatives, friends and strangers she met. My condolences to Elaine’s husband and family. As one of her many physicians I enjoyed her sense of humor and determination to continue to enjoy life. My hope is that we were able to help in someway to make her life more comfortable. I appreciate the family’s sentiments and gracious thank you.

Elaine was my co-worker for many years. She was a true survivor. Her wisdom always impressed me. We would discuss our families and our health. I will miss her. God Bless
