Elaine Kay Lawson, age 68, of Seattle, WA, peacefully passed away December 16, 2016. Elaine was born to Norman and Estelle Jaress on November 2, 1948 in Lansing MI. Elaine had a long and distinguished career in computing. She served as a Manager for Pacific Northwest Bell, US West, and Qwest Communications. At the time of her passing she served as a Senior Project Manager for T-Mobile US, Inc. While working she earned her Project Management Professional Certification of which she was very proud. She loved her three cats, Chase, Liam and Winston. She also enjoyed spending time with friends. She loved her work, she also loved baking, shopping, reading, and movies. She was known for her many crafts, like needle work, handmade Christmas wreaths, and crocheted baby blankets. Elaine’s memory will be cherished by many friends, and she will be sorely missed.
