She fixed me a German dish that i enjoyed so much.
I will not forget that.

So sorry for the loss of Ella. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. She was a wonderful, loving, caring and funny lady. Buns and Ella kept all us kids laughing. I have many great memories of all the fun camping trips, clam digging, chinese firedrills & Bar-B-Q’s parties in their back yard. I too will never forget that “Tree on Fire”…
Sweet lady Ella will be missed.
“Remember Me”
Remember me when flowers bloom
Early in the spring
Remember me on sunny days
In the fun that summer brings
Remember me in the fall
As you walk through leaves of gold
And in the wintertime – remember me
In the stories that are told
But most of all remember
Each day – right from the start
I will be forever near
For I live within your heart.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Rod and Cheri.
Love, Bob & Char
Not only was Ella my mother in law, she was my friend. She lived and loved for her family. I take great pride in saying, “I am a part of her family.”
I will miss her very much, but I am blessed and comforted with my wonderful memories BIG smile and knowing she will be in my heart, forever.
Thank you for loving me, Ella…I love you.
My thoughts, love and prayers are with all of you.
Ella Big Ell was like a Mom to me she would love me and scold me when me and mickey would be fighting like sister and brother. There were many memories of camping trips. She would always bring Pepperidge Farms desserts, could not wait to see what kind she brought for treats. I will never forget the camping trip when we went out claming and caught the tree on fire a dosewallups camp ground. Going to visit Jake and Ella and helping her pick her vegetables in her garden and swinging on the tire swing and having a campfire and roasting hotdogs. I was glad to see her and Jake at mom and dads 50th Wedding Anniversary. She was a Great person.
I Love You and will dearly miss you.

Dear Rod & Cheri – My heart goes out to you at this sad time. The hurt will always be there it never is gone. Pray and talk to her as I do every night and day to my two sons. I know they are listening and are my two special angels in heaven. They keep me going on with my life because I have to. Your mother would want you to do the same. It’s a bitch!!!! We didn’t see your mom and dad the last few years but I remember them playing in our tournaments and they were always alot of fun. Please feel free to call me if you need some help in dealing with this. There is nothing anyone can say to make it better but please know that you can find professional help. I did but it doen’t bring them back. You need to talk about her and cry, cry whenever you want – it is part of the healing system. Again, we are sorry. Earl and Irene Wog
sincere sympathy to all family members, Ella will be missed by us all. We are so sorry not to be able to be there for the funeral.
We had many memoriable camping outings through out all our lives. We all had trailers and a place to go in Shelton, The Schatz’s. Fun times were had by all. I remember December 15th one year, it was Buns and Ella’s anniversary and they were staying at the Red Lion hotel. We as a big group were all out “Yulebacking” and deceided to end it with breakfast at the Red Lion and surprise Jake and Ella in their room! One of our group ran in and jumped in the middle of their bed and surprised them. OH what a night! That’s just one time we all had fun!
One special time was at Ellas house with some of our grandchildren, she insisted they all get dirty and make mud pies by the back steps, you should have seen the girls. My grandaughter Amanda Oberloh-Johnson is now 25 years old,
then we cleaned them all up and deceided to go to Wild Waves for the day. I was driving our old big orange and white Van when we had a flat tire, just 2 blocks from Wild Waves and had to call Randy to come and get us and change the tire, What a day that was!
With loving memories

I loved Ella’s Thanksgiving turkey dressing. It was the best. Diane
I will miss her waving to me each morning, no matter what time, as I leave for work, and waving me back in when I arrive home. I will miss chatting through the fence and in the driveway, and sharing treats from her garden. What a great lady, neighbor and friend! I miss you!
I am so sorry that I did not get to see Ella at Christmas time but we did have a reunion this summer at Rod and Cheri’s that I will treasure. Our memories are very comforting when we lose a loved one and Sonny and I had many memorable and fun times that we shared with Buns and Ella. I remember the times we would put the kids down and play pinochle and eat popcorn, our many camping trips, our trips to Reno, all of our golfing trips and our special times at the Red Lion.
My love to all of you. I wish I could be with you at the service.
Love, Jan
