Elizabeth, age 74, was born on February 25, 1944, in Wapato, WA. She passed away on October 2, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Thomas M. Sanislo; mother, Mamie Haddix; brother John Haddix (Laura); aunts, Jennie Graham and Stella Parker; nieces, Kimberly and Lindsay Haddix; and best friends, Virginia Carter and Kathleen Stablein. Liz worked a variety of jobs while living in and after leaving her home town of Wapato. For 30 years she held various administrative positions with law firms. Later, she found fulfillment working as a care-giver. Liz had a great heart and was loved by everyone. She fought cancer for over four years, suffering more as time passed – always showing great courage, fighting to the very end. She was never one to say, “why me?” Liz and Thomas were happily married, with her passing just two days after their 23rd wedding anniversary. God bless her soul! A Celebration of Life was held at their home in N.E. Tacoma on Saturday, October 13th.
