On Tuesday, October 18th Betty died peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born on October 5th, 1928 to Andrea and Albina Bevilacqua in Seattle.
Betty was a wonderful cook, always willing to share her Italian recipes. Her ravioli were legendary. She crocheted many beautiful blankets as gifts. She was a lifetime member of the Sons of Italy. Betty lived happily for the past eight years at The Chateau of Renton and had a community of friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Carlo Prandi, son James Prandi, daughter Linda Mattheis and sister Velma Woody. Betty is survived by daughter Judy (Chris) Moore of Renton, brother Andy (Irene) Bevilacqua of Tucson, sister Elsie Nielsen of Seattle and 3 grandchildren Jeff Mattheis of Seattle, Kevin (Deb) Moore of Santa Barbara and Leslie (Nathan) Woods of Seattle.
In celebration of Betty’s life, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday October 24 at 12:00 noon at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Burien. The family prefers memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society or Bailey Boushay House in Seattle.
