Ella, you will be so missed but Rest In Peace
Miss Ella, I truly miss you. I pray that you are above watching us here on earth. I miss your laughter, your stories. But most of all I miss your smile that lights up any darkened space. Your energy. I was truly blessed to have spent even a short amount of time with you. But, I promise I wonβt forget not even a second. Rest easy now. I love you!
My beautiful Aunt/Sister how much do I miss you — more than words can say.

I love you so much and I will never forget the love, care, and relationship we had. Thank you Auntie Ella Mae for every dinner, strawberry cake, kind word, wisdom and the love of Jesus that you shared. Thanks for the support and special time we spent together when I lived in Seattle β€οΈThanks for being the best great aunt , fun and all of the softball games you played over the years at our family reunions and your winning smile and affectionate hug and always welcoming us in your home whenever we came to Seattle and for the time you lived in Portland . I will miss you dearly and there are no words but this… to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. RIJ AUNTIE πΉβ€οΈ

Radiant, sweet, kind and generous. She treated me like blood and I respected her like a Big momma should have. She could calm the room with her big, beautiful smile. My greatest memory was her tell me she loved me and appreciated my friendship to her daughter. You’ll be forever loved and missed Sweet Lady.

Anty Ella your work and spirit has touched many lives. Now you can rest. I love and miss you anty and I will see you when I get home.
When I first met Ms. Ella she lived upstairs from us. She was never a stranger and always full of love. We became family quickly and she always gave little nuggets of knowledge to a young mother. I will truely cherish the love she gave and her beautiful smile.
Rest in Love

I will never forget the first time I met Aunt Ella. She looked me up and down for a moment (which seemed like a lifetime to me) then gave me the biggest, brightest smile! She welcomed me into the family as her niece and from that moment on whenever she spent time with Charles and I, there was always LOTS of laughter. I loved her feisty independent spirit and felt humbled by her protectiveness. Charles and I are forever grateful that we got the chance to wish her Happy Birthday and tell her we loved her…
Rest in peace, Aunt Ella. We LOVE you.

A poem written by your sister, Helen Ruth Stone:
Our Wonderful Sister and Mother
Ella M. Harrison, Mother, Sister
We have a Wonderful Sister,
One who never really grew old.
Her smile was made of sunshine,
And heart was solid gold.
Her golden heart just stopped beating,
As our Queen simply closed her eyes.
We asked why, why, why,
Why did she have to go?
Dear Sister we know where you are,
We promise to stay strong.
We will meet you in the sky.
We will think of you day and night.
We love you.
Love you always,
Helen Ruth Stone (sister)
