Obituary
Emy, as she is known to friends, or “Ninang Miling” to her family and relatives, passed away peacefully with her family at her side November 18, 2015 at the age of 91 years old. Born in Manila Philippines on September 16, 1924, Emy and her family moved to the Pacific Northwest 27 years ago. In her youth, Emy was an active Red Cross volunteer and pharmacist where she owned her own drugstore and worked for the Philippine Government until she retired in 1988. She was active at her church as a devout catholic, singing in the choir and playing the piano.
Emy loved spending time not only with her family, but also with her friends and her children’s friends as well; she especially loved spending time with her grandkids. She would welcome everyone to her home with her home cooked meals.
Emy is now resting in peace with her husband Miguel. Emy is survived by her daughter Jing, son Dennis, grandchildren Mannuel, Rafael and Sophia, daughter-in-laws Maria and Marie Antonette.
Funeral viewing will be held Friday November 27th from 1:00pm to 7:00 pm and entombment Saturday November 28th at 11:00am at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial Park 16445 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA 98188.
