I have known Mrs Erdie nearly all my life no matter how many times I rang her door bell to play with Mike and Cliff she always welcome me with a smile and ask me how was my day. I will always remember Erdie and never forget her.
On behalf of the Wickliffe Family- We love Erdie,she was known to all of us as “Bitsy”. Wish we could have all been there today as she was laid to rest. Miss Erdie was my “other mom.” I loved to listen to her many stories and will always remember the laughter in her eyes and her beautiful smile. Her spirit will live on in each of us whose lives were blessed by her love and kindness. To Peter & the Melrose family, I pray you find peace and comfort in the love of God, friends and family.

I remember Erdie and my mothers laughter and talk filling my childhood.A genuinely sweet person.I always smiled when i saw her.I think of her now as resting from the sorrows and the tears, in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years.My condolences to Peter and her children.
