Of course I am going to miss my grandfather. Going home will not be the same with him not there. I only wish I could have spent more time with him. I can hear his voice in my head as clear as a bell. “Hello Jim” is what I hear and it makes me tear up. It comforts me to see the likeness in my father and knowing that my brother and I both have a lot of the same features and characteristics as grandpa.
I feel bad that I am unable to be at the funeral today, and share this time with my family. I miss and love all of you, but I miss you most of all Grandpa.
I wish I would have had the chance to meet grandpa Stohr. I feel that he was such a good person from what James has been telling me. We wish we could have been there with all of you, but our hearts, thoughts and prayers will be.
Erwin was such a kind and loving sweet man who we will miss terribly. We have many many good memories to keep close in our hearts.
Erv, We all knew you for a short time, but you made us as comfortable as old friends with your sparkling smile. I feel very priveleged to have had you for a neighbor. Maxine Moen #404

We will always remember Erv as the kindly neighbor that lived across the hall from us. He always had a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed
Uncle Erwin was a wonderful man who will be greatly missed by me and my family. I don’t think there is another man who was sweeter, or kinder to others than him. Always a had a smile for ya,no matter how he felt that day. I am thankful that my children got to know him even if it wasn’t for that long. We love you and miss you. Tell my Grandpa and Auntie Vi hello and we miss them lots.
What a wonderful man. He will be missed and I’m so grateful for the few years I have known him.
We will all miss Erwin. He was a wonderful man. Get togethers won’t seem the same without him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.
Thanks Erv, you made a great impact in my life. I learned much more than the art of shoe sales from you. I’m sure that a part of you still lives in me.
