I had the privelege of visiting with Esther on several occasions as my husband Brian is her nephew. I was struck by how extraordinarily kind-hearted a lady she was. She greeted us warmly, smiled, and held our hands. She loved people and was so happy just to be with us. I never once heard her make a critical or unkind remark about a fellow human being. That is something I really admire and will continue to strive towards. I was blessed to have known her!

I was blessed to have Esther as my Aunt. I cannot remember a single time when we would visit and I would see her and she didn’t greet me with a big smile and big hug… she is one of the kindest persons i have encountered in my life. To be related to her makes me feel all the more honored to have known her. When i think of people I should be more like… I often think of Aunt Esther. I sincerely offer my condolences to my mother, Esther’s sister Linnea, Esthers children, my cousins, and the rest our family. Esther will be missed, but we are all blessed to have known her, and we will all see her big smile and get a big hug from her again someday.
