92, Born March 16, 1922 in Edgemont, South Dakota, Passed away peacefully on July 11, 2014 in Tacoma, WA.
Esther retired from U.S. West Phone Company in 1984.
Preceded in death by her husband, Olaf Henry Johnson in March, 2000. Loving mother of Lillian E. Larson and Jack E. Johnson; beloved grandmother of Bruce Atwood, Tracy Wiseman, James Hutto, Michael Johnson, Amy Johnson and Travis Johnson; great-grandmother of Ryan Atwood, Rachel Atwood, Lance Justice, Christian Hutto, Joshua Wiseman and Shelby Wiseman and loving sister of Thelma Anderson and Anna Justham.
Funeral service and reception starting at 1:00 PM, Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA 98188.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. I remember the trip to England and many a gathering of the birthday club I was lucky to share with my Mother and with yours,
My grandma taught me everything I know about grace and kindness, dignity and thoughtfulness. She was courageous, strong, hard working and dedicated to those she loved. She put others first all her life. I am a better person because of the things she taught me and I am thankful that she is at peace now from the disease of dementia that took all those things from her – that she is with grandpa and God in Heaven.
