Obituary
Ethan Root, age 3 ½ years old passed away at his home on Wednesday February 18, 2004. Ethan is survived by his mother and father, Stacey and Michael Root Jr.; grandparents, Marge and Alan Mooney, Michael Sr. and Ellen Root, Bridgit and Dave Reynolds; great grandparents, Don and Arthurine Mooney and Beatrice Guzman; two brothers, Trystin Sanders and Logan Root; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 23, 2004 from 12:00 Noon until 8:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 24th at 12:30 PM at BONNEY-WATSON Federal Way, 1535 SW Dash Point Road, Federal Way, WA 253 839-7317.

Not a day goes by without thinking of Ethan and all of you. I know as time passes the pain becomes more intense as reality sets in. We love you very much and are always praying for you to make it through this most painful time.

It’s hard to find the right words at a time like this because I can only imagine the pain your are going through. All I can say is that I am deeply saddened by the loss of Ethan. I am the mother of Alex Buggie Elliott, who was in Ethan’s class and rode the bus with him.
I had asked Teacher Janet a couple of weeks ago, who Alex’s little friends were so that I could talk to him about them. Alex has Down Syndrome and his speech is limited. I remember when I asked him about Ethan, he got a great big smile on his face and his eyes lit up. I know he loved Ethan.
