Eugene “Gene” A. Johnson, April 7, 1924 – January 11, 2005. Gene relocated from Rockford, IL and has been in the Seattle area for 14 years. Friends knew him as an avid bowler and motorcycle enthusiast. He was a loving Dad and will be greatly missed by his children; Virgil “Butch” Johnson, Sparks, NV, Julianna Tucker Spanaway, WA, Casey Franck, Seattle, WA, Peggy Sue Merideth Mariposa, CA Suzanne Matteson, Burney, CA Sister Marlene Covey Whitmore, CA 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and family friend, Zemula Robison Spanaway, WA. He was preceded in death by both parents, brother Lawrence, sister, grandson, Brandon and granddaughter, Felina. At Gene’s request, no services are being held. The family has entrusted arrangements to BONNEY-WATSON Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd., SeaTac, WA 206 242-1787.
My dad Jerry and I have many fond memories of your dad over the years of bowling with him at Westmor. He was a very good person and friend.
