As a student at Holy Rosary School in Moxee, Washington, I admired and can say that Sister Laureen was my favorite teacher. She gave me a crucifix, one of the ones that the sisters wore, that I still cherish today. I have often thought of her and in the last year or two have wanted to find her and maybe go see her. I have kept her in my heart and I know God has also. She was always an inspiration to me.
With kind thoughts of years past,

Sister Eva’s brother Jim was my uncle. I only met Sister Eva once when I was 7 or 8 years old but I remember her to this day. She was very kind to me and I will always appreciate that. Jim and Carmen told lots of stories about her so I feel like I know her. What a well lived and meaningful life. God bless Sister Eva.
