Obituary
Eva Mae Rauls passed away peacefully at home July 17th, 2008, in Seattle, WA.
Born December 12th, 1925 to Vester and Bertha Oldham in Wilson County, TN. Eva grow up In Lebanon, TN
and moved to Seattle, WA in her early twenties. She met and married Jasper Wayne Rauls and settled in
the Central Area for many years. Eva worked and retired from the University of Washington Hospital. After retiring Eva still had a love of caring for others. She cared for the terminally ill patients, went grocery shopping for shut-ins, sponsored rides to doctors appointments, and was even a foster parent.
Eva had many interest but she loved baseball, good music, cooking, playing cards, talking with friends and debating politics.
Her greatest pastime was collecting friends and family to share those with. She was a loving and wonderful person. Always a sympathetic ear, ready smile and a warm presence. She will be dearly missed.
We were blessed to have had her life touch ours.
She is preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; and her husband Jasper Wayne Rauls, SR.
She is survived by her sisters, Mattie Thomas and Sarah Ursery of Madison, TN, and a host of family
and friends who loved her.
