We’ve known Evelyn and Bruce since 1984, when our daughter, Lisa, married their son, Pete. Evelyn was always so friendly, positive and energetic. After they moved into Judson Park, she gave us a personal tour of the entire facility, and she seemed very happy to be there. We’ll definitely miss Evelyn.

We are sorry to hear that Evelyn followed her beloved husband and passed away. We met them twice during their genealogical trips to Germany in the late nineties. On this occasion, we spent wonderful days together here in Dresden and learned a lot about our family. We are very sad that we couldn´t arrange for a trip to Seattle WA to deepen our friendship with the family branch overseas. We´ll never Bruce and Evelyn.

We first met Bruce & Evelyn while traveling the Lewis and Clark Trail during the bicentennial of their journey west. We met up during several of the major events that took place over three years. We enjoyed hosting them in our home several years ago and showing them the sites in Illinois and Missouri. We will miss our connection with them and think of them in our prayers. We know how much family meant to them and how much they will be missed.

Both Bruce and Evelyn were dear to us. Me (Sharon) met Evelyn after marrying Leo. I can always remember the guys going hunting for ducks and then Evelyn cooking the darned thing — happily. I was so glad I was a vegetarian then.

Leo days: we are saddened by the loss of Evelyn, and also Bruce. Both were so caring and outstanding folks. Evelyn was a caring nurse and Bruce was the finest, most effective engineer I was honored to know.

DUCKS & DOGS, and laughter always — that is how we remember her.

I am so sorry to hear of Evelyn’s passing. The last I spoke to her was recently when my husband Paul passed away. Paul and Bruce were roommates at MIT. We always enjoyed Bruce and Evelyn’s company when they visited us in CT after the MIT reunions.

My condolences to the whole Landry family.

Yes, I am sad. But much stronger is my admiration for Evelyn´s vitality how she handled her disease. Evelyn was a strong woman. I would like to follow her example. I will never forget her.

Warm and caring thoughts to Evelyn”s family. Bruce and Evelyn were the best neighbors ever in Shorewood. Evelyn never ceased to amaze us with her skills and resourcefulness. Where there was Bruce there was Evelyn. I like thinking that they are together again. So sorry I was out of state at the time of her memorial service.
