Obituary
Evelyn R Lash passed away June 22 after 88 joy filled years. Evelyn was born in Culberson Montana in 1922 where she lived with 7 other brothers and sisters on the family homestead. She married in 1947 to her husband Kenneth where she spent 35 years with him before his passing in 1979. Evelyn worked and retired from Eddie Bauer after 22 year. She spent her retirement years pursuing her interest in gardening and travel. She spent here last 10 years at The Lodge At Eagle Ridge an assisted living facility in Renton Washington where her zest for life was renewed. The facility afforded the opportunity to make many new friends. She was very active at Eagle Ridge where she gardened, lead exercise programs with the resident and was known as ‘Stitches’ for her willingness to assist the resident with any mending tasks.
Evelyn is survived her son Keith Lash of Sammamish, Washington and Gary Lash of Round Rock Texas as well as her daughter Illona Blaszczak of Montgomery Texas. She also was blessed with 6 grand children. Services will be held Friday, June 25th at 2:30 in the afternoon. Services will be at Washington Memorial Cemetery in Sea-Tac Washington. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
