Obituary
Ferol ”JUNE” Swanson 1916-2006 passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2006. Widow of Cecil, founder of Coastwide Supply. June was a Seattle native and married Cecil in 1939. The Swanson’s were one of original residents of the Innis Arden community where they raised their five children. Mrs. Swanson lived there for 55 years and spent her later years in Orting, Washington. June will be remembered by friends and family for her outgoing personality and zest for living. She loved her children and was always a strong advocate for them. June is survived by her five children; Barbara Alm, Marianne Sivertsen, Jeffrey Swanson, Dean Swanson, and Dennis Swanson; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A private graveside service on Friday, November 24 will be followed by a celebration of June’s life at 4 pm at Hotel Nexus, 2140 N. Northgate Way, Seattle, WA. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations in June’s name are sent to the Millionaire’s Club of Seattle.
I am sad to learn that June has passed on. She and I had many years of laughs and good times together. I will keep her in my prayers with love, Ginny P.S. Where is Willy?
Many childhood memories came
flooding back when I read of
Ferol’s passing. There were 3
cousins from the Elliott side of the family; Ferol, Betty and myself. Memories of Mt Rainier, picnics and other fun times remain, all full of Ferol and her personality. She will be missed.
May God’s blessings be with her and her family at this time. She will be spending
Christmas with Jesus this year.
