“Memories like a coat so warm a cold wind can’t get through” will keep Flora forever in our hearts. We will miss her stories, her smile, her sweet voice and her cooking lessons. Heaven receives a precious angel and I know she is smiling down on all of us.

Truly a historic loss. The Worland Mexican community was one of the first Mexican settlements in the state setting the stage for the Latino presence now in the Yakima Valley. The church her father helped establish in Wapato, is one of, if not the, oldest serving Hispanic institutions in the state. These families were truly special people. God bless.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your loved one. Death is one of the most difficult things we face in life but may it comfort you to know that others care. I have found great encouragement when reading the beautiful words penned in the Bible at Isaiah 25:8 “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces.” May this promise bring your family comfort in this difficult time.
