Obituary
Floyd W. Ody was born on December 1st, 1946 in Stockton, CA. to parents Walter and Palmera Ody. He died Sunday June 10th, 2012 in Republic, Washington at the age of 65.
Floyd proudly served his country in the Army for 20 years and retired as Sergeant 1st class E-7. From there he went onto PSNS as a nuclear technician and retired from the shipyard after 20 years of government service. During his short retirement he was able to travel to Yellowstone, The Grand Canyon, and Mt. Rushmore, but his most cherished travels were visiting his beloved family and his many camping and fishing trips on the Rouge River. Floyd looked forward to many more trips during his retirement such as The Alaskan Highway, The Smithsonian, and Germany.
Floyd is survived by his wife Bertina Ody and their seven children, Larry, Steve, Tim, Janni, Ryan, Spencer, and Samantha and, his sister Vivian, and Brothers, Les, Richard and Robert. Grandchildren; Sean, Nicole, Cassandra, Gage, Taylor, Gavin, RJ, Tianna, Justice, Tristan, and Great Granddaughter Cynthia. Floyd was preceded in death by his Father Walter, Mother Palmera, and Brother Everett Ody.

Floyd it has been many years since we’ve seen each other but we always remember what a nice neighbor you were when you all were growing up and enjoyed being around you. You were always so polite and such a beautiful smile. You will be missed. God Bless your family.
Floyd, I have enjoyed working with you through the years, first when you were loaned to Shop 64 where we worked together, then later, when I came to C/105. You were lawys such a pleasure to be around and will be greatly missed. Rest in peace.

Thank you for inviting me into your home and giving me a wonderful time with Linda, Larry, Stephen & Tim. I’ll never forget the trip to D.C. we all made together, what fun we had.
