Flozell "Sue" Lewis

Flozell “Sue” Lewis was born April 7, 1930 in Okolona Arkansas to Mary and Arch Buchanan.
Sue as she was affectionately called had five siblings; Edward, James, Ernest, John, and Charles. She was raised in Okolona Arkansas. She graduated from high school and moved to Seattle in 1943, with her remaining family, to join her brothers who adored her.
She married Willie “Penny” Lewis July 10th, 1947. They were happily married for 58 beautiful years. Penny was the true love of her life. Sue worked at Boeing for a short time, then became a full-time housewife.
Sue loved traveling the great Northwest with her husband and friends Martha and James Wesley in their motorhome. Sue loved playing the slots, “Big Winner”! Some of her favorite pastimes we’re fishing, watching her soap operas, and as a big sports fan, she loved the Mariners, and the Seahawks.
Sue departed this life on June 7, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband Willie “Penny” Lewis, her Mother Mary Woodberry, her Father Arch Buchanan, and Stepfather Garfield Woodberry. Brothers: Edward, James, Ernest, and John. She is survived by her loving brother Charles E. Woodberry (Sharon), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and, friends.
Sue was a woman of profound beauty, grace, and integrity. “Aunt Sue” was known by many, and loved by all.
So very sorry that you are now in the land of grief. We understand the pain, the loss of a love one and offer our condolence. We pray that love of God gives you comfort, courage and strength for such a time as this.
