My heart goes out to all of you! I have such fond memories of visits between our families. I envision Frank and Viola with big happy smiles on their faces when they once lived on Mt. Norway. I believe Frank is smiling down upon his family and no longer in pain. May God bring you all comfort in knowing he no longer suffers. Praying for you.

I remember Frank and Vi as wonderful neighborhood friends. They left Mt Norway when I was in eighth grade, but I still remember spending lots of time visiting with our family. Us kids were always playing while mom and dad visited with Frank and Vi. Spent many Easter’s with them and having Easter egg hunts that Dad and Frank hid the eggs for. Spent a couple of Christmas eve days (a few hours) at their house with my dad while mom helped Santa put out the presents from Santa. What I remember of Frank was he always seemed to have a project. I remember him adding on to his house and adding a bricked flower bed to the front of his house. They were a very important part of our family….I saw them a few times after I moved to Seattle.

My condolences to the family, Vi, Lee, Karen and Lynette and all of their children and families. Losing a husband, a parent, and a grand parent leaves a very big hole in our lives. Our parents love us unconditionally and when they are gone..it is a big loss. Hold your memories close, cherish the times you had with him…He lived a good and full life…and he will be missed. Find solace in the fact that he suffers no longer and that some day you will meet again. I haven’t seen you guys in a long time…but I love you guys and hope that you are all doing okay.

Sitting here tonight thinking of you Papa. My heart is heavy and my emotions so confused. You always had the right words of advice and encouragement to tell me. I could sure use those words now. Hopefully you are enjoying Heaven and knowing that I am looking after Nana as promised. I love and miss you Papa. No mercy Brown will forever live in my heart.
