Obituary
Francisca Escamilla Garcia, 83, passed away on Sunday the 9th of January 2022 at the Armani Palace Adult Family Home Care in Kent, Washington.
Frances was full of life and was employed in her younger years of life at Mission Jewelry as a sales associate. Frances loved singing and dancing. She loved socializing with everyone. It didn’t matter who you were. She just loved talking to everyone even strangers in public places. Frances would love going out to different restaurants and talking with the waitress or strangers sitting across the table, hoping to make new friends. She was opened minded and at the same time she did not hesitate to express her opinion. She had so much energy and confidence in herself. Her favorite thing to do was having her hair done. It made her feel very special. She loved getting dressed up just to go shopping, eating out or just visiting friends. She loved having company come over even more. Frances loved wearing jewelry. That’s one reason she loved working in jewelry stores. She loved showing jewelry to her customers and seeing a smile on their faces. When the weather was nice, Frances would go for walks, and she would talk to everyone she saw. Later in life she enjoyed taking drives in the country through small farm towns where she could see the cows and horses and she would tell childhood stories about growing up on the farm in Rio Hondo, Texas.

On September 10, 1959 she married Raul Garcia and they were happily married until April of 2004 when he preceded her in death on April 5, 2004. She is also preceded in dealt by her son Ruben and her second husband Carl Frank Schroeder.
